The Forge: small builders, proven under the harness.

The Forge holds small, proven builders produced under the Bounded Agent Harness. Each entry on this shelf is a working pack — not a description of one — with a worked example, real measurements, a named author, and its limitations printed on its own page. If an entry can't state what would prove it failed, it doesn't go on the shelf.

This is a shelf, not a monument: new entries land here as James — or other participants — build and contribute them. The shelf grows one proven builder at a time.

Forces a code model to produce a real animated GIF — contract, frozen acceptance, deterministic checker, bounded repairs.

One entry today. The next one gets added the same way this one was: built under a frozen acceptance, measured by a checker, published with its failures and limitations attached.

What earns a place here

  1. A name and a one-line claim — what it does, stated so it can be wrong.
  2. A named author — a person or a run, not “the team”.
  3. A worked example with real measurements — numbers a checker produced, not adjectives.
  4. The files themselves — downloadable, runnable, inspectable.
  5. Its limitations, printed on its page — including what it cannot do and where its own checks have been wrong before.

Every entry so far came out of the same loop the harness applies to everything: freeze the acceptance first, let the model build, verify with a machine, repair inside a budget, publish the record.
